Description:
Some beaches exist only in the back of your mind. The water impossibly clear, warm gold sand, a wave breaking white in the sun. Spring Tides pulls from that place, an aerial view of open water meeting shore, caught at the moment the tide is at its fullest.
The water moves from a deep aqua at the top through flashes of electric green, settling into the white break of the wave. Below that, white sand stretches to a pale dry tideline at the edge. The high-gloss finish shifts with the light around it. In a bright room it reads vivid and alive. In lower light the greens deepen and the water feels further away. It works equally well as a focal point on a feature wall or as part of a larger arrangement.
This is an original, one-of-a-kind piece. No two artworks from Every Breaking Wave are the same.
